Just bought a Fujita F5 MA-2812

Says application is 350Z and 03-04 G35 coupes with 'rectangular air mass'.

What exactly does that mean?

I think it could be the shape of the intake. Pics of the intake I've seen are rectangular, just missing the 4th side.

Gimli sounds right....but its called a Mass Airflow Sensor or MAF sensor.

Thanks for the pic, I never paid attention to the Fujita intake...it simply has a slot for the MAF instead of the stock setup.

Thanks for the pics and info, I was pretty confused as to what they meant, only because it says it only works on 350Z's and 350GT's with a MAF, and its like well how do i know if I have one?

Will get some pics up once it arrives and is installed.

Thanks again.

Somebody correct me if I'm wrong, but all modern cars have a MAF (Mass Airflow Sensor). So, to answer your question, yes, your car would definitely have one. Not sure if it has a 'rectangular' one, though - I'm sure this is referring to the packaging/mount around the MAF - some are round, some rectangular, and probably some square.

But wouldt ALL 350s, G35 etc have the SAME sensor shape/size?

It would have to be kept consitant over the entire lineup, that would just be stupid otherwise.

Both 350z and G35 have rectangular MAF's.

FYI G35 = 350GT

Yeah, I know, but there are slight differences between the two, which I have been discovering, so just double checking that what works for the US setup also works for the Japanese set up.
