I've been chasing this intermittant problem for months. The car runs perfect for weeks and then stops, I mean dies in the street.

I finally got an error code out of the thing which told me to check the voltages on the Air flow meter. I found my problem, well sort of.The specs say check:voltage at terminal B with ign switch on < .5 volts, at idle 1.0 - 1.3 volts.I got vltg at terminal B with ignition on < 0 volts, at idle 0 volts.

My handy Haynes manual also said check terminal E. They don't give a spec I got vltg at terminal E with ignition on < 12.5 volts, at idle 14.5 volts.

I can't find anything in the manual about what to check if this measure is out of spec. Does anyone know what the power source is and how I'd restore that?

I was trying to run out to pick up a harddrive this am, when the car failed, I won't mind so much about the computer dying if I can finally get some closure on this intermittant problem with the car, I'm psyched! Thanks for any help! :-) Tw
