unless you're going to put leather/vinyl which doesn't stretch as well, then there's some sewing involved.Ryencool wrote:use spray glue and put some fabric down
When I recovered mine to match the leather seats, I simply cut the new material about 1/2" larger than the insert, masked the insert area on the door, sprayed the area with standard fabric glue, layed the material over the sprayed area, smoothed it from the center to the edges and pushed the overlaps down into the groves with a clean flathead screwdriver. Worked great, that is until some idiot decided to pull them off thinking he had bought my car while it sat in my friend's shop ... long story. Anyway, it's easy to do.Ryencool wrote:is there a write up for this anywhere? I cant find one? do you just use spray glue and put some fabric down or do you have to sew? Mine are peeling off and I cant figure out the best way to do it. Thanks!
