Recording from music stream

Apparently, my QX56 has some sort of built in hard drive that you can record to, while listening to a music source.

1. How exactly do I do this?
2. I somehow managed to get into that hard drive and it has a bunch of really weird, to my ear, music, recorded on it. How do I delete all that stuff?
Yes, I do have user manual, didn't make me any smarter.

Well, it does not record off stream. Only off CD.
When in Music box, you can delete what was on it, it's pretty straight forward.
