recommended tire size for 18 x 7.5 wheel

I purchased a set of used wheels for my 98 maxima.

What would be a recommended tire size for the 18 x 7.5 wheels I bought?

like 215/35/18 or 225/40/18

check out this site and you can plug in the tire sizes and see front and side views of the tire it also tells u the exact measurments so you can make sure you will have good clearance

Unless you're going for stretched and slammed and crappy ride quality, that's too narrow and too little sidewall.

215s are suited to a 6.5 inch wheels. Absolute minimum I'd consider on a 7.4 inch wheel is a 235, but 245 is the sweet spot for that wheel width.

245-45-18 is a sweet spot for tires. TONS of options, decent pricing.

I went with that setup (245/45/18), Because this is a traveling highway car, I need it to be an absolutely comfortable ride, I decided on that.
