Hi All,

I have changed my wheels and tires on my 97, and am now running 245/40ZR-19 in the front and 275/35ZR-19 tires on the rear. I was just wondering if i follow the same tire pressure info given by infiniti, or where/how would i get the new pressure needed....

Thanks,PMF

Read a post by SZhosain that has an Excel spreadsheet attached.

Here's one method: Consider static and dynamic weight transfer on the front axle, consider your tires load rating (which is at maximum psi) and calculate how much of that load rating you will requre at speed, hard cornering, at high load or in emergency manuevers. I bet you will arrive at a psi between 35 and 40.

In general 80-90% of a tires maximum pressure depending on load conditions and desired ride/fuel economy. Inflate to max when load bearing/towing. A tire's inflation pressure will afftect the way the tread grips the road.
