Recommended spark plug gap

What is factory spec for spark plug gap on RB25det? The Autolite 3924 that were in the car come .40 ish out of the box.

I dont know what the factory is, but everyone off the skyline boards seems to be re-gapping to .8mm

AUTO LITE!! are u serious.. dont run them.. no platinums either....

go with a NGk or a Denso..

Both the RB engines I got had Autolites in them also. I dont know why??? I gapped my plugs to .8MM also and they run great

My RB25 also came with autolites. I guess maybe they are the stock plugs over there for these engines. I dunno

I've heard anything from .8-1mm is good. You need to expiriment around with the gap and find the best gap for you.

STOCK IS NGK BUT VENUS USES AUTOLITES WHEN THEY DO THERE START-UP. I GOT A SPARE MOTOR FROM THEM BECAUSE OF THE HASSLE WITH THE FIRST ONE AND THEY HAD NGKS IN THEM.

That is what I gapped mine to... it is rec'd somewhere on Motorex's site I think. Mine were/are (my old motor is in Hybridone's car) NGK's... I won't run anything else. Motorex also rec's NGK's if I remember correctly. I will try to find the link.

I think Blitz's plugs are made by NGK also.

Yep the one I got from Venus had NGK nismo iridium plugs.
