Welcome to NICO!

I have not done snow tires on my M45 since I do not live in snow country anymore. But, having lived for many years in Massachusetts and New Hampshire, I would strongly recommend snow tires if you plan to drive any powerful rear-wheel car in snow! My experience with my 1985 Nissan 300ZX Turbo (and that had lower power than the M) was a clear indicator of this need.

There are 245/45-18 snow tires available that will work very well - my spreadsheet in the forum sticky has a few listed. My recommendation would be to get a set of cheap steel wheels and use the snow tires on them - this way, you will not be taking the tires off the rims each late-fall and early-spring.
