Hi all.

I'm brand new but have searched to make sure I don't ask the same thing someone's already dealt with.

I have an '07 Murano SL. Factory radio is not Bose and no SAT button so no prewiring for Satellite. I'm disappointed but resigned myself to having another sirius "box" on my dash. Any recommendations? Price isn't a problem... I'm looking for maximum performance, low impact on my vehicle... want to keep the dash as uncluttered and open as possible.

any and all suggestions are really appreciated. I really want to get this done perfect the first time.

Thanks!!!

If you have a Murano with the "SAT" button, then you can add a Sirius or an XM tuner. They are available as an OEM part from Nissan. If you need any help finding the required components, let me know.

I have a simialr question. Do we have to have the sat button to be able to install and use the satellite radio? It may sound like a stupid question but I thought our '07 Murano SL with the Bose 6 disc changer was prewired for satellite radio and just needed the box to be installed near the spare tire. Bedsides the box would I need to head unit to the Bose radio that has the sat button? I understand it's not a good idea to go with the aftermarket decks because of the way the radio is wired.

Welcome to NICOclub! Glad to have you in the Murano Forum! I got your e-mail as well.

As I stated in the e-mail, http://www.courtesyparts.com has all the parts that you need. Let me know if you have any questions.

Hi- New to the club and need some advice! I just bought a 2006 S model Murano, pretty basic. I'd like to be able to hook up my Ipod and get Sirius Sat capable. It is not equipped with the Bose stereo but the owners manual says that the base radio is Sat ready. Is that the case? If not, I guess I'll need to buy the Bose radio and swap it out. I'd like to get an Ipod kit while I'm working the radio Sat issue at the same time. Any advice on what to get? I checked the courtesy parts link but need to understand what I have and need, before I start buying expensive parts. Thanks.
