Recommended S14 Cam Upgrades

Im thinkin about upgrading the cams on my 1995 S14 and was wonderin if anybody had any recommendations on what to use and where to buy it from. Thanks

Probably the cheapest would be the old s13 cam swap. S13's (91-94) have larger cams than S14's (Intake-240/Exhaust-248 vs the S14's 232/232). Or you can use two S13 exhaust cams, but you have to modify the one you are using on the intake side. It's covered extensively here.

But you would be better off to go with an aftermarket set from a company like PDM, JWT, etc. They'll be more expensive, but get you better gains. Be careful when shopping and know what you want - some will take away from low end torque but add to high end power and vice versa.

Pointless if you have the stock manifold. You'll see 7whp at best with the stock manifold. Probably 20+ with ITBs or a custom one.
