Recommendations on replacing 4x4 Transmission RE4R01A?

1996 Pathfinder 4x4.RE4R01A TransmissionRuined transmission by improper towing.

Paid $4000 for vehicle, sunk another $7000. Replace Steering Rack, Rear Suspension, Brakes, AC Compressor, tires, etc.

Junk or fix?Any ideas or suggestions on cost to have transmission replaced? If I buy used or remanufactured on Internet, who will install and at what cost?Raleigh NC
