Dont' confuse "looks" with function. G35 and such rims are NOT designed for Q45 stresses. I am with AZHitman. If you cannot afford good rims, don't get any and continue using stock if they meet specifications.elwesso wrote:See, I dont really like the 99q rims..... I guess maybe pictures dont do them justice, but I dont think they will look much better than the stock piepans...... I like the 5 or 6 spoke design of the G35/Q45 rim, respectively........

The pictured 5 spoke wheels are the FY33 t and ae wheels subject to the recall.Q45Viper wrote: The only wheel I know of that is called a touring wheel is the 16 inch 5 spoke from 97-98.

My dealership told me it was for the Q only. The I30t Sport I bought, had the same wheels, but it was a load issue on the Q.jmatas wrote:I still haven't heard an explaination as to why the I30t version was not subject to recall? I've got two bent ones on my car from pothole run-ins (i30), so going back to maxnix's point that they are not forged, I would say that they're a very weak wheel. Keep in mind that my i30 weighs 1K+ lbs less. Have any of the Q-version owners had the same problem? They're great looking wheels, but I wouldn't put them on a Q.
The standard wheel is the 20 slot 16"x7" with machined lip beloved by all G50 owners who have them.Q45Viper wrote:2000-20001t model? Are there TWO wheels offered these two years? If so they sure do look alike and I thought at least one of these years, I think 2000 was the anniversery edition which had all the t stuff on it and they did not offer the t.
