Hi i just bought a g35 sedan 2005.. after being a american muscle guy all my life i was suprised at the performance honeslty. the performance to comfort ratio i thinks is so well put together... but i have three questions i'd like recommendations for .

1. getting the 298 HP the coupe gets.

2. plz recommend better brakes these things fade so bad almost to the point of lock up

3. what MPH is the best for fuel economy in highway. i usually do 60.

thanx VETS

1)hmmm so u wanna improve ur performance. first start off with a stillen intake with a stillen tube. then get a motordyne 5/16 plenum spacer. then get a engine damper. now lets get into the exhaust part. get the stillen catback, Fast Intentions Test pipes, and some decent headers. this should get you darn close. btw drop your sedan as well. U will not believe how better u will feel.

2) Get some Hawk HPS pads, no squeaking, no brake dust as well

3) U need to start driving at 70 to see good mpg.

Hope this helps somewhat. you can always try the search key for any additonal info on any of the mods i mentioned.

1) I'm assuming you have an automatic. If you have the 6MT, you already have the rev-up engine (298 hp). Simple bolt ons will give you a bit more power. Search around, as this request has been covered numerous times.

2) If they're fading that easily, your brake fluid may be saturated with water. If this is the case, I'd recommend flushing/filling with new fluid. If you push your car at all, I'd also recommend some better brake pads and stainless lines.

3) The speed limit.

Welcome to Nico!

You listen to these guys and next you'll be selling your kids/wife/dog on ebay for go-fast parts!!!

Wife once got 26.75 mpg on a HW trip in her 05 sedan.

Wife said that if her new brakes squeel she'll kick my a$$.So, I will be putting on Duralast CMax pads today if it doesn't rain.Supposed to be quiet. Did a bunch of looking on the internet and decided on these. Will most likely go with the Hawks on my coupe next.

Put in Royal Purple, JackO swears by it and says it is good for more power!

Hawks from Pep Boys or Tirerack.com

Advance offers Akebono pads. Have heard VERY good things about these too.
