I was wondering if any of you guys could recommend a good wiper blade. I bought the Bosch Excel + but they don't fit. Will the Bosch Icons work? Thanks! Here are some pics of my car that I took recently.

Well the reason I wanted to get the Bosch Icons is that they are buy one get one free at Autozone. The guy there said that they have gotten mixed reviews. Son in the Bosch Icons what size did you get? They had one that said A and B.

Where in the STL area are you located? I can tell you that I am located in between Plaza and Bommarito on Olive. LOL.

I am not sure what size they were, but they will tell you at autozone. I do think the A & B determine driver or passenger side, they must be contoured differently. I live in Oakville ( South County ).

I would highly recommend these. I have put them on my Jeep, M45 and my Corvette, and have been nothing short of completely impressed.

Plus the are buy 1 get one free.

I also heard good reviews about the Valeos. I think I might just go with those.

Valeo's are a good bang for the buck, but they really don't last that long. I had mine for about a year and the blade cracked.

Thought I'd let you guys know that I got the Valeos. They are very good wipers. Wipe clean with no streaks. I'll see how long they last, if they don't last long I'll go back to OEM. Thanks again for all the suggestions!

Wiper blades arent intended to last longer than a year. Its just a thin piece of rubber.

Yes, but if you get the silicone ones, they definitely last much longer ... as good as new with a simple edge-cleaning with ultra-fine sandpaper!

The ones from Silblade were strong on my wife's car after 4 years - I replaced them some time back, so I will see how long these new ones last!

BTW, I do a periodic regular cleaning of the edge of the blade with a 1000 grit wet sandpaper - just a few wipes and the old vulcanized rubber is removed and fresh material is exposed. Works like a charm ... even on non-silicone stock blades!

My original 2003 M45 blades (stock blades) lasted over 3 years, as I recall, without problems with this cleaning technique. I eventually replaced them because the blade broke at the rubber "hinge" where it flops back and forth (the edge was still perfectly fine due to my procedures). I had to use stock again, since I had not bought the Silblade ones for the car at the time the OEM ones broke.
