I have a 92 vert that I took over from my wife. She's had it for 10 years and it was in great shape and i've commited to restore it but it's proven to be a daunting task and expensive. I have dumped a good 5000k into it already and it still needs wheels, paint job, engine replacement and the rust above the mirror taken care of. I ask around and search the internet and cannot get a straight answer from anyone. I take it to the dealer as of now for service as i trust them (the same mechanic only works on my car since he has one) but it's too pricey. I need to know if anyone can recommend a body shop for the rust above the rear view mirror. I am getting estimates of 2-3000$ because i am told that section inside the metal is so rotted and a 2-3ft section needs to be cut out and custom fabricated. Also, I need an engine place. I don't think i am going to do a RB swap. Probably just stick with the original engine type but try to beef it up as it's rebuilt or replaced and will stick with the auto transmission as i have to have a back up car for the wife to drive since she hates manuals. Sorry if this is not the right place to post this. Getting a little worn out with this thing. It's my commuter but at 19 years old, stuff is failing left and right. Also have what i think is a starter going out too. Any ideas are appreciated.

are you on http://www.240atlanta.com

I cant give any good recommendations from personal experience since i've been working on mine myself. but the other members there can give you good ideas.

but off the top of my head, i can think of tiger racing, mainstream, jjspec, lethal injection.

yeah, posted on there in the vendor forum and haven't recieved any responses.....I pick my car up from the dealership today to the tune of 1200$ and just can't be doing that anymore. I would work on it more myself if i had a bigger garage and more tools. I think i am in there(dealer) once every 3 months and 3 service advisors know me by name. Thanks for the info.
