Recommendation?

I'm planning to look into replacing the timing guides and chain. If after I call the dealer with my VIN# to find out whether or not they were done before.

If they have not been done would you guys recommend to either get them done at an Infiniti Dealer, or a mechanic?

If not at a dealer would anyone know a reputable place where I can have my Q worked on? I live in Long Island, NY.
