I am sure most of you know... but letting other ppl know...

I have a Black 98 Maxima SE 5 speed.

These are the rims I might get. Money is a bit tight so I got to try and stay under $1400-1500 total if possible(tires, Rims, shipping and fees) but I need tires because the ones on my car are getting warped from the past owner never had them rotated.

I think they look pretty sick but I was worried about them looking too ricey. Just check my car on Car domain and tell me what you think.

Now tires.

After much debate I was leaning towards some BFgoodrich G-Forces sports. They are really the best ones I can find that are a good long time name brand, ZR rated, nice looking and for that price. I also heard these were some good tires and judging by the ratings they have some good scores.

I am also gonna have Tirerack mount these because that last thing I need is some punk kid to scratch my rims at a tire shop while he is mounting them. I might have them balanced though because I heard Tirerack did not balance tires well. I will also have my friend who is an alignment expert to give me a discount on aligning the car for me at one of places I used to work.

Wheels are nice. I wouldn't call those rice at all. Good luck with your decision bro.

rims are nice, but IMO i would stick with the bfgoodrich kwd's. i've been running them for about 3-4 yrs now on both my old '96 maxima and now my '99 max. super handling and traction, dry OR wet!! definately get your money's worth and i think youd be very happy with them!!

yeah, actually KDW2's i believe. the "kwd" stands for "key features: dry and wet" and the "2" stands for the second generation to distinguish between the old kdw's. i absolutely LOVE these tires! i will never run anything else ever again, unless im just flat out broke...even then i think id sell a kidney or something to pay for them! LOL!

yeah, thats the only down side (the price). you might could try to run a different width series or something within the range that would still fit your rim which could take it down a few more bucks. either way, i think you'd be happy with them. im not knockin' the others but i aboslutely love these!
