Recommendation Fan/Temp Controllers

I have a Flex-a-lite Dual low profile fan and was wondering if anybody could suggest a temp controller.

There used to be some cheap one that everyone that was switching to just their A/C fan was using. It was like $20 bucks at one of the auto parts joints, and it slides into your radiator fins to get a temperature reading. People were just buying an extra relay to wire it in.

If your pockets are really deep, you could always get one of those flashy $200 electronic fan controllers thingys that take up dash space.

If you have the dough to spend and want flawless reliability I suggest the power enterprise FSC. It not only allows you to adjust when your fans come on but it also doubles as a coolant/oil temp gauge(it can actually read both in the same unit). I got mine from phase 2 motortrend nearly 2 years ago and never had a problem.

Get the Derale one from Summit!!! Gotta be the best bang for buck one out there!!!

Thanks I think i might get the Derale one from summit.

i'm currently running the flex-a-lite fan controller. its a pretty solid piece, but about double the price of the derale one.
