Any recommendation on where to get the 3M bra installed properly in the NYC area would be appreciated.

Or recommend a better product to protect bumpers/mirrors/hood.

I have a '06 M35X Black/Bourbon Premium in Manhattan. When I bought the car in October, the dealer wanted about $350 for the 3M clear front cover. Seemed like a rip-off. I am thinking of getting the "leather" bra for the winter. I have yet to get any scratches on the front bumper but my rear bumper is very scratched already so I put on black stick-on bumpers I got out in Cliffside heights, about 5-10 minutes off the GWB. Works wonders. Bought a pair of Rizo door guards out there too.

I'd skip the leather bra ALL DAY LONG.

No better way to wreck your paint. Dirt and grit gets under it, and it moves the whole time you're driving, acting like a vibrating sander.

$350 for a full 3M application is actually a good deal, I intend to have it put on my G35.

The ClearBra (if it's the real 3M deal) is a great protector and I've seen them last 3 years or more.

Another possibility is http://www.stongard.com, but it is very expensive!

Didn't realize that about the leather bra. I had one on my Lex for about 8 yrs and never took it off, even when I sold it!!! I don't think the M would look good with a bra anyway....

That's because it is cut correctly. No seams on the front one-piece nose.

It is invisible installed, and includes mirror nacelle protection also.
