Hi guys, Im interested in a 95 Maxima GLE white on black leather very clean with 204,000 miles. It starts up perfectly and sounds nice and I was wondering how could I tell mechanically if the car was taken cared of by its previous owners. Also if I search and find that everything is mechanically sound and if I do buy the car, what type of fluid changes should I do at 204,000 miles. I definitely want to make sure that the transmission is taken cared of and I've heard that flushing out the transmission at that amount of miles is bad and worsens it. Also, the asking price is only $3200.......is that a steal?

Welcome to NICO.

Your best bet would be to take it to a Nissan dealer or other trusted mechanic, and have them look it over. If it has been taken care of, that seems to be a fre price. I'd also recommend running a car-fax on it.
