When my air conditioner is operating in automatic mode and the fan is in a higher speed it sounds like it is in recirc mode. When I click on the recirc button the light comes on but I do not notice any difference in sound or volume. The light is not on unless I push the button. Does the system automatically go into recir mode until the selected temp is attained?
