hey I was wondering has anyone bought from k-sports for our cars? I recently ordered and received my k-sports with customized springs rates and I ran into a problem during the install. The camber adjustments did not fit through the chassis of the car. Any help would be great. I am going to call them tomorrow and if worst comes to worst ill slightly modify the strut tower.

Welcome!

My question is what do you mean the camber did not fit? Do you have any pictures?

Also are they completely install and you just having problem getting to the camber bolt so you can adjust them in the front?

The problem was that the camber bolts on the top hat did not fit into the hole of the chassis. This is in the front if anyone was confused. Like I said before, if worse comes to worse, I'll have to cut the frame to accomodate the coils.=/ I really don't want to take this route. Thanks for all the help and I will get pictures up asap.

From the looks of it. You will have to lose that racing line strut bar. supposedly with coilover the strut bar will not fit, A member have the BC Racing coilover and the racing line strut bar does not fit at all.

Also the camber bolt is not suppose to go above the top hole if that is what you are asking. If you can fit the coilover and bolt it on then you are good. I can't get to my camber bolt at all and it does not reach to the top of the hole.

I also have the BC Racing coils.

I dont believe the strut bar was a problem (yet) haha, my mechanic had to first disassemble my OEM suspensions first so we did not even get far enough to encounter the strut not fitting. Wait... so your saying the camber bolts are not suppose to go above the top hole (in some cases?) do you have a picture on what it may look like. I really don't know, it was taken to a professional to be worked on. I am thinking about doing it myself now. THANKS A LOT I will be waiting for a reply from ksports.

here is a link to how the front should look like when install. The camber bolt should be under that hole.

The way the car is design it is hard to reach or you have to remove the set up to get to it.

hey, so thanks to mcheddadi I emailed chinaman and he was about to offer some good advice. my friend and I were able to install the coilovers and they work freaken great. I used some grade 10 bolts with washers from AutoZone I'm loving k-sports for their customized spring rates and the ride is actually not that bad. Anyways here are some pictures My friend took while we were hanging outside a best buy and some in Fullerton (before) i dropped it more. Enjoy!

Nope, they are yellow turn signals, but I've been meaning to get a pair of yellow high beams for my car. For 18's that's the lowest drop I can go without rolled fenders, but it can go lower. There's some protective pan underneath the car that's literally 2 inches off the ground, so i scrape almost everything even while angling.

The only thing that needs to be done to make the RL Strut bar fit properly again is to press out the inner bolt on the coilovers and replace it with a slightly longer one. That's it that's all

Car looks great BTW

My friends and I actually got the Strut bar to fit somewhat properly over the coilovers so Thanks! It was great knowing I didnt have to lose the strut for coils.

Thanks for the info. What's the offset of the wheels and what Tire size are you running?

That looks beautiful

Now I'm second guessing my rim choice, I was set on 19's with a 8" wide tire, but if 18s can fill the gap with the coils then I might head to 18s.

I really want a 9 or 8.5" wide tire

Where at in Fullerton, I would like to see them in person if you're ever down here

No dampening feature? or am I missing it?

To the OP, the wheels you have look like the Advan RS replicas. Not the SSR Type F as those are 12 spokes.

BC Racing BR coilovers can be purchased at circuitmotorsport.net

or

Tein SS coilovers can be purchased at stillen.com

I wouldn't settle with the other coilover companies. Read reviews on them, not so great.
