Hey the car looks good I just had a question for you. I have a 95 240 and I'm doing the S14 SR swap as well in a couple weeks, I already have all the parts for it but I was wondering how different the S14 swap is compared to the S13. I've been reading up on how to do the SR swap so I'm prepared when it's time for me to do it, but all I can ever find is S13 swap guides and instructions. This is gonna be my first swap ever, not to mention my first real work on a car besides the basic usual stuff (maintenance,oil,brakes...) I heard that the main difference is the wiring, and other than that it's mostly the same. Is there anything I should know before I pull out the KA and get stuck? Sorry for the long post, nice setup by the way

Basically, the only real difference is the wiring. All of it is handled at the F3 plug, well, almost all of it, you also have to repin the plug at your windshield washer motor. Is the car an auto or a manual? there are some differences in wiring of things like the speed sensor, reverse lights, and neutral position switch if you are putting a 5 speed motorset into an auto chassis. Just don't forget to put the KA speed sensor in the SR transmission and you should be fine. I have a couple of decent files you might want that are helpful with the swap, shoot me an email and I'll put them in a zip file and send them over if you'd like.

Ok, replies sent, hopefully the info helps! Some I found all of it online, but the site that I got the two webpages from has since vanished, but I saved the pages that explain the F3/4 and M63 layouts.

hey could you explain the vacuum lines to me. I've swapped s13's before, but i just finished a s14 into s13. sr's of couse. i dont know where the vacuum lines go. car is running like crap and i'm sure thats what it is. [email protected]
