Just wanted to pass this on to the 240 community:

As we all know the recent attention that the 240 has gotten recently has taken the natural evolution. In the Northern VA area there have been 3 confirmed thefts of 240s with various states of tune.

Please take precauions

1. Make sure your insurance has all of your mods2. If you have a garage use it3. Put alarms, autolocks, fuelcuts in4. Keep an eye out for "cruisers" around your place

Let's not make it easy for the thiefs.

Please pass this on to as many forums as you can

Doesnt your insurance go way up when you cover your mods?

most insurance wont cover mods. In theory insurance could be revoked if they found out you have a motor swap.

I listed my SR as a "Turbo Kit".

One 240 that was taken was IvanS13's Ride. Look for a maroon 240 that is/was frontmounted

The other was a s14. I don't know the guy but a friend called me up and told me

And the third was stolen from a Circuit City (s13)

All had various states of tune so they are not just picking SR'd 240s

240dreams:Besides putting more security in the car, no. It's running great so I will just fix the nut behind the wheel before I put anymore power in it.

Going to VIR in March with a Mazda Club to have some road corse fun!

I live in Leesburg, VA. Recently 3 Civics just got left on bricks in this area that i know of as well. They're all being stoeln and driven somewhere else, so i would recomend the club or something.
