I recently did the q45 swap on my 91 240 fastback and there's no response from the ebrake when I pull it to lock 'em up. They grip well when I park it, but that's not the issue. I got this setup to help with drifting/practicing and this wont do at all. My 93 did this too, but I thought it was cause of the cheap rotor/pad combination. This wouldnt be true for this setup right now, both the pads and the rotors are quality 5H!t. I've bled the brakes well, but i'll give it another try. Any suggestions?

I've got more about the e-brake now. It does lock up, but it takes a lot more effort to lock them. Feels like the handle weighs a good 50 lbs. Before I did the swap, the ebrake could be pulled easily, more like 10-15lbs. Anyone know what can contribute to this?

my 300zx parking brake is doing the same thing. I'm scared i will snap the splice between my lines again...

you swapped rear calipers as well im assuming? the only thing i can think of is that the leverage on the 240 ebrake handle and the q45 or 300z handle is different. i.e. they get more leverage because they are heavier cars requiring more force to be put on the e-brake system. but thats just speculation
