I recently had the fuel pressure reg done on the 2009 Versa, and to make myself clear to the service writer I told him I knew of this TSB and also knew that my year is affected. They gave me that Typical look like the customer doesn`t know jack... While looking at the service writers gaze, I said my mechanical experience or knowledge in the automotive field makes no difference or any concern with this more than publicized fuel pressure issue. and that I KNOW this service needs to be done. respectfully of course.
After stating that my neighbor is a very good friend of a co worker there, surprisingly she happened to be standing right next to the service writer and started to tell me we will fix your Versa and not to worry after we had discussed our friend. She knew what I was trying to tell the service writer all along.
What gets me is why do these people think they are the only ones to repair your vehicle? and they assume Joe public has never built anything... hahahahaha

ok, we got a call that the Versa was repaired within the hour that we dropped off the car, funny how quickly they got to it after explaining to me that they need to keep the car to diagnose it and make the No start happen... hahahahaha....

and I had to put back the carpet correctly under the rear seats... too funny!

hahaha, I know, I worked in a similar environment. and yes some are way out, but it doesn`t hurt to listen to the customer. I`ve even read some of the writers notes that were put on the WO... unreal...

I had to put my carpet correctly as well! I was also told that they needed to recreate the issue in order to confirm the problem. I was so happy that my Versa was a sport and would not start for the tech guy when they were trying to drive it into the garage. The guy just looked at me and assured me that the car would get fix. It took about 3 hours to get the issue fixed. Been rockin' ever since. :rotfl
