3000k fogs, and wrap the lenses in yellow tint, other then that, looks great, and i like the trim plastidipped under the doors, i have my running boards off also, on the silver it looks clean tho, good job.

And i took my LED DRL's off like a month and a half after i put them on, i just thought they ended up being plain out tacky and didnt flow well, i think you set yours up based on my thread, i took them off cause i didnt think it looked good, but its your car do what you like :dblthumb:

I'm really liking that footwell LED lighting! I might look into doing that at some point.

The rain guards look pretty nice, they blend in quite well.

Your brake fluid looks dark as hell, you should get it changed.

Is there any performance improvement after installing K&N Air Intake?

Yeah i got the led drls idea from you miamiheat but i like how it looks with the hids. And with the k&n there is a little more throttle response and it sounds good especially at high rpm. Not sure how it affected my mpgs i dont really care ahha

Damn man, I really like your truck. The fact that its an 04, with the silver on black and platinum dark wood interior, just looks so crisp! I like most of the mods you did too, I was thinking about doing the footwell lighting but with soft white led's. How did you wire them in , like do they just come on when a door is open? Also you should post a video of your switchbacks in action.

I really like my beige/tan interior with cloth seats. Compared to other cars these cloth seats look pretty nice.

And especially cause my audi is all black inside and black leather... And i still have to get it tinted, cause man you park it outside when its sunny and hot, you can bake chicken in there.

I have the tan leather, well it's not really tan more like taupe. It still get hot lol.. I did tint my windshield at 50% and I will say it is a lil cooler and it gets WAY cooler with the ac on. In the summer I used to rock it at 60f with the fan speed wide open. Now I keep it on 70 with fan speed at 1.

Haha, at least in the pathy it cools down, my black audi + no tint, even though AC blows ice almost 10 sec after starting the car, you can have it on, but just the heat radiating from the black still has it warm.

Im getting it 20% rear, 35% front tint, that should help alot.

Im getting my front windows tinted to 35 this week and i am tempted to do my windshield.

@patqx4 i wired the footwell lights to an led switch i installed in an empty dock by my steering wheel (next to the mirror adjustment thingy) and then i wired that to the fuse box and spliced it in an un used hole with a 10a fuse. Dont forget to ground the individual lights also. If you need help let me know. I used heat shrink wraps to connect all the wiring.

I never noticed my brake fluid being dark. Could that be causing my brakes to squeak or do i just need new ones?

Heres a vid. They work well, theres a slight lag when you turn off the blinker. They still flash when i lock/unlock it which i like

I actually like the led switchback thing, must say this is actually the first time ive seen it.

Link to where you got them? And do you need to wire anything up custom?, not that thats an issue but just wondering.

Squeaky brakes may be caused by debris or a significant amount of brake dust in the cooling vane of the brake pads or rear drum brakes in general. I would remove the front brake pads, clean them thoroughly with brake cleaner, apply some anti-squeal sauce on the shims, and remove and re-lubricate the caliper slide pins using a suitable lubricant such as NAPA Syl-Glide. This will hopefully resolve your front brake squeaking. And of course get your brake fluid flushed at some point.

I got them here: http://www.ebay.com/itm/190685019516?ss ... 1439.l2648

Although its on ebay there is a reliable company behind it, fyreflys. The package includes resistors that stop the hyperflash but you dont need them, just go to autozone or online and buy a ep34 led flasher and replace your stock flasher. Pretty simple

Tint: In mass the legal limit is 35%. Should i go with 20% or 35%? Which will match more? Im guessing 20, the only problem is i will have to find a shop to pass my inspection

Could you share some pics of how/where you mounted the LEDs for the footwell lighting? Where did you source power from? I'm really interested in trying it.

very nice. I really love the switchbacks. I will probably buy a set very soon mostly because it includes the resistors!

I just used doubled sided tape to mount them :

Then i wired them to this blue led switch:

From there i grounded it to a screw i found and then spliced the power wire under a 10a fuse in an empty fuse hole but you can also splice it with preexisting fuses such as the cigarette lighter fuse. (Ignore the second splice under the 15a fuse thats for my drls)
