Receiving XM Traffic info in Toronto GTA

Discussion of Infiniti's amazing (and underrated) sport-luxury crossovers, the EX35 and EX37. For 2014, the EX series will be renamed QX50, in line with Ininfiit's new naming conventions.

June 4, 2010 I was zooming out my map display and the 'Traffic' icon came on. Now I'm receiving free traffic info. I guess XM Canada is getting with the times and starting their system. I hope it covers more than just the Toronto area. Burlington and Niagara would be sweet if the price is right. David

I don't know how much "flow" information there is around toronto. I think the queensway is covered but I'm not sure how much else. Toronto is a city that would benefit from good traffic coverage. NYC has great flow info on most of the major roads - up where I am in Albany we get accident and construction info which is of marginal value.

I noticed I got it too but the coverage friggin' blows. Just bust out your iPhone instead and use Google Maps traffic. It covers even small streets.

Well it stopped Monday morning. I'm a little bit impressed with what info I received and would like to try it out more. Incident reports for the Burlington Skyway bridge did show up along with closures for the Gardiner Expressway. Thanks KJ, I'm just not an Apple person but I'm sure I could find other sources for cellular smart phones. David
