You gave me a heart attack with that thread title! I know that U-Haul places will gladly install them, but thats as far as I've looked into it.

Assuming you're referring to bicycles, you may be better off getting the kind that hooks o the trunk lip and lid.

The thing about roof rack is I have seen some "stupid enough" accidents where people knocked their bikes off. I don't want to be one of them!I'll check U-Haul.Regarding trunk rack, I will never do that because it will damage the paint.

NO ROOF RACK... unless you are willing, after a long, weary ride to repeat the phrase "Bike on roof, bike on roof" for the entire trip. I've seen smart guys do it at the drive-in. Something about being worn out and just trying to make it home.

You want a Type I for no more weight than you are hauling. It is the kind with the tab sticking out. You can get one at Wal-Mart for about $30. Mounting is probably not very pretty on the Q. You'll also probably need to rig the bike rack to work. Curt makes a custom fit Type II for about $300 you can find it at etrailer.com. Seems like overkill though.

The trunk mount racks are easy to install but rub the paint.

BTW, whatcha ridin?

I'm ridin' a Redline Monocog Single Speed mountain bike.

I got RUCKUS "two point zero" - free ride, trail street ride (change tires).Second is a "downhill" GT DH-i . I haven't done aby downhill this year yet. I am planning to go to Canada to ride Whistler slopes. I normaly do Snoqualmie Pass slopes! I am not a hard core dude, just enjoying the nature!I had a set up on my Jeep, but I sold the Jeep and my old "HeavyDuty" 3 bike rack. Sweet rides, we don't get to downhill around here. Got some nice trails in the east around Atlanta and north. Yeah, no trunk rack or 65+ lbs. A type I bolt on would still handle it. A buddy of mine has one on his Acura and hauls 3 or 4 bikes at a time. Also converts it over and puts a platform on it during deer season to haul dead deer home from camp.
