so im new to the 720 world. my carb on my truck is pretty much jacked up and figured id try my luck with a remaned carb instead of rebuilding it. so I ordered a carb that was suppose to fit a z24 according to the auctions. the one that arrived was not correct. I did a bit of research on the one I got and im guessing it is from a z22? the bolt pattern is not the same as my z24 carb. upon looking at the butterflies they are noticeably smaller on the new one. also the fuel inlet on the new carb is smaller. outside the carb looks similar until i look at the small things. also the electric plug is not similar to the z24. this carb has a 3 wire plug that is a small circle.

i provided the seller with this info but he is claiming that he bought it and never used it and that it is the same as what he received. he also is claiming that he has taken a loss on the carb and doesn't have money to refund it. sooo now im opening a claim with ebay.

i just wanna know if what i listed about the z22 carb sounds about right. ill try to post some pics of the new one vs my old one. im really hoping to solve this issue soon so i can atleast get the right carb and have my truck running again. thanks in advance for any help. also the item was an auction and i never tend to purchase things in the bid style auction as in i tend only to purchase from companies. i gave this guy a chance cause is was offering what i wanted at a decent price as well as had 100% feedback. don't think i will be making that mistake again.

Easiest way for anyone to judge will be if you can take and post a picture of it. That said, where is your truck from? Does your original carb have the 6-wire harness or not?
