Well today was a nice day... recieved a call from the deal telling me my 4 OEM oil filters and 4 OEM NGK spark plugs were in. Cost me 50 bucks for the four plugs AND the four filters since im a mechanic at a near by shop.

For the people who want part #'s.... here they are straight from the box that came from Japan.

Oil Filter = 15208-53j00(pretty cool since the same filter is for the R34 skyline and ALL "sr" type engines from around the world)

Spark plugs are platinum and have TWO part #'s, one is the OEM and the other is the NGK part #

NGK = NGK PFR6G-11Nissan OEM = 22401-1p116

I believe these are the same as the BKR6E, PFR6B (PFR6B-11) and the PFR6B since i have searched all over online and keep running in circles with all of these common numbers. Go here to search all the numbers and you will find they are all the SAME!! Denso Spark Plug Cross References

Yes, the 6 heat range is perfect for your application.

I run 0.030" on copper plugs and will be lowering it shortly. It should vary according to how much power/boost you're running.

Electromotive gives a decent rule of thumb:

Stock Engine: 0.044" - 0.060"High Perf. Street: 0.030" - 0.035"Alcohol High Comp: 0.025"High Power (75-115 HP per cylinder): 0.025"Over 115 HP per cylinder: 0.022"Over 12:1 CR or over 14 psi Boost: 0.022"

Did you not read my post?

All SRs are not running the same boost/have the same mods and should therefore adjust accordingly. 0.028" sounds like a good gap, yes, but you should adjust according to the circumstances. Going by what someone says or you heard is not always the best idea.

I'm running 11psi with old stock plugs gapped at .042. It seems fine. But every great while it will miss once under full throttle. My idle varys slightly also. I thinks she needs new plugs and regapped smaller. My car is a auto don't know if that make a difference. Thanks for the info.
