Okay I have an 03 M45 and I am having problems with the cam positioning sensor but I've seen a recall on this sensor as well as the crankshaft sensor and variable timing control sensor but the recall was back in December of 03. My question is, do recalls have a expiration date or is the issue something I still can have the dealership to fix this problem? Thanks in advanced to all that respond!! :ohno:

Recalls do not expire. You can have the dealership update your car with all the outstanding recalls. Have you never visited your dealership? They should be checking your VIN anytime you go.

Thanks for the info, and yes I do visit my dealership as a matter of fact I just left them on monday for the fuel gauge cluster recall and my check engine light was on then and they told me that they were only gonna fix the cluster because of the recall, I would've needed to schedule and appointment to get the CEL checked out and plus pay another 149.99 for them to tell me the problem never did they say anything about other recalls and weren't to concerned about it, so thats why I asked the question about recalls. But I will follow up with them tomorrow and have them update all the recalls on this car. Thanks again.
