I am stuck, I want to rebuild my engine, i have about 128,000 miles but i know the car is not in perfect shape. Its gonna cost me 900 bucks to paint the car so thats gonna wait until i rebuild the engine. Now the problem is i want forged internals. I am not gonna do much head work exept for cleaning it up. as for the bottom i want the whole forged piston thing but i am not sure if i want to raise compression. should i do it? i was maybe thinking of using stock compression but making the internals very rugged and strong with forged pistons and rods. strong enough to push out good amount of nitrous. Now, what you guys think? also what options you guys think i should go on pistons? i can get factory forged pistons from realnissan for 580 with the rings. I cant find forged factory rods for the engine though. Any help?
