rebuilt RB25 alternator

anyone ever have their RB25 alternator rebuilt? wondering how much it cost you. mine was rebuilt this morning for 150 and that seems a little steep to me. i told them to go ahead and rebuild it because im anxious to get my car back on the road and hopefully this alternator will solve most of my electrical problems. they said it was TOAST.
