As some of you know, I was looking around for a better turbo (namely a T28)... After doing some shopping around I managed to get one hell of a deal. I'll insert it as a mastercard commercial:

Used/Blown T28 Turbo(bluesilvia): $20Getting the turbine housing welded(phatrix): $30T25/T28 rebuild kit from G-Pop Shop(online): $70Total expenses from beginning to end to rebuild a T28: $130Finding out that a rebuilt one is about $800USD or about $1000+USD new

Having been born in Winnipeg, Manitoba and used to never paying full price for anything in your lifetime, Priceless =)

This baby looks bloody mint with no shaft play, balanced like a beauty, and just screaming to start getting used =D

Yep...I got mine from SXOC.com for like $170 shipped (from England)....no shaft play...just leaky seals....then my rebuild kit from ebay for $80 and an upgraded gapless ring seal for it (+$15). I'll have to pay to get it balanced...but....nevertheless...for the price of a used BB turbo I will have a rebuilt non BB. Seems like a fair trade off to me.
