First off this is my first post, so please dont flame me.

i have finished rebuilding my ka24de. the machine shop who i took my block to (which i regret now cuz they f*** suck) bored my block .030 over when i asked them to bore it over .020 and then they ordered flat top pistons.
anyways so i put the engine together and in my car, hooked everything up. got crank and spark and everything.

just need help with timing.
BASE TIMING DOES NOT keep the car running, ive manage to get the car started with random timing (taking the dizzy out and spinning it like a damn roulette)

i was wondering if i can get any insight on this

On the dizzy there is a little circular indention on each side right above the gear when you pull it completely out, set the timing on the dot that has another mark beside it, and stick it in. have a friend crank the car while you slowly rotate the dizzy from the front to back of block, and see if it will fire
