ok ill give ya the whole story. When i got my sr comp reading were off long story short either tip of spark plug or some type of FOD was found in the #1 cyl. I took the head off have all the machine work done brand new valves bronze valve guides and i decided to go 6mm on the valve guides instead of the stock 7mm because if i ever break a valve i can get them from the sr20de motor. That and the guy at enjuku racing said thats not a problem and they usually switch to the 6mm.So 500$ of fresh head work later and shes lookin nice and shiny.Bottom end wise i decided to stick with oem pistons 50$ i got from a really good reputible shot here in indiana.Im gonna go with oem std bearings arp fasteners cometic HG 1mm because of the head resurfacing.ill give a whole list of what im goin with. Im pretty much asking for any advice like break in time somethin small to look out for etc i wanna get this project done before i leave for the marine corps in november so please ill take any advice.heres the list

cometic hg 1mmstock t25 turbomegan ex manigodspeed intercoolergreddy dp & elbowtest pipemegan cat-backaluminum radwalbro 255

pretty much stock tuning i may up the boost to 10 psi but thats it. If you cant think of something that will ease my pain of tuning this car please let me know. Im gonna take it to that ft.wayne tuning shop and have them look over it.

thanks

If you want a good break-in number shoot for 800. That is the number that most OEs go with (Porsche, Ferrari, Lotus, Lambo, Diamler) but some people say at 500 change the oil and have fun. If you can afford it Royal Purple (Tier 1 Synthetic) is the best oil for fresh bearings, AMS Oil is a good Tier 2 that most performance parts stores have, but Mobil1 will save you some cash and is still a Tier 3 Synthetic Oil and available at Walmart.

If you looking for electrical tuning the GReddy Emanage Ultimate is a breeze to use and has a lot of features you only find on a $1500+ standalone. You can set a target AFR for each driving condition (idle, wot, throttle percentages) and it will do a basic tune for you.

Good luck @ Paris Island. If your going Recon or Scout Sniper then BZ!!
