so I was wondering if any one has tried using the KA manual trans rebuild kit to rebuild the RB20 transmission?

I used a KA rebuild kit from AXIOM. Cost like $150, and all of the seals fit fine, but only 2 of the syncros worked. I forget exactly which ones. Bearings worked fine too

no problem. It sucks that we can't do a "full" rebuild on these things. My reverse gear was starting to show some wear, as well as my 5th gear syncro. Wish I could have replaced it all when I was in there. Cause of my rebuild was the shift selecter fork for 5th and reverse snapped in half leaving my trans stuck in reverse. Replacement for that is also just normal KA parts.
