approx. how much would it cost to rebuild the KA24DE?

I was just wondering the same thing. I have a Ka24e and want to find someone who knows where to get a kit. I would rather do it myself and learn something. So if anyone knows of a website or a company that makes a kit let me know. Thanks, Kyle

I rebuilt mine over the summer and put some flat top pistons in it to raise the compression. I got my pistons and my gasket set from these guys.http://www.importperformanceparts.net/i ... san.htmlIt will cost about $1000 if your keeping it pretty much stock.They sell a rebuild kit for $899. If I were you I'd definately get a good clutch and flywheel while your doing it.I wish I would have went with the 8.5:1 pistons and a nice turbo but I didnt have the extra cash. I'd sugest ARP rod and head bolts as well.
