hey guys i bought a chukia 2 months back and it had 200 k miles...the guy who sold it 2 me also gave me a ka24de from a 98' s14...now i would like 2 do the rebuild myself but i'm only 15 and i have minor experience with cars period...so point is should i TRY to do it myself and live and learn from my mistakes or get a local mechanic to do it for me???

1. Get a factory service manual.2. Read it.3. Read it again.4. Read it another time.

Get some friends with knowledgeable experience to help you, and do it yourself. If you do it right, you'll have a better sense of accomplishment in the long run. And more experience. Good luck!
