Rebuilding my KA need to get some suggestion..

hey im rebuilding my KA24E and i need some suggestions for the parts... i found some ACL main and rod bearings.... but dont know much about this part... i need help deciding what brands to buy for the timing kit, main and rod berings, head gasket, and piston rings, any suggestions are greatly appreciated thank you

you're on the same step as me...im on a budget and i got some one to do it for under a grand...but im getting it honed and bored.im getting it bored four liter over so instead of being a 2.4 it will be a 2.8.if i had more money i would buy better pistons.so if your not on a budget i would get a brand new crank,racing pistons,and anything to improve performance with it being a stock 240

I think you are mistaken on your math about being a 2.8 my friend. If the machine shop you took it to said it's going to be a 2.8 now I would pick my stuff up and run.

How big are you boring it? I am boring mine to 91MM AND am using a BC stroker kit and it will still only be a 2.65L
