guess the 74 people who lookd at this first couldent answer ya so here i go!..lol..#1. do you have a place that will allow you to work on a vehicle..ie a garage..barn ..storage place?..#2. Can you follow throu with a long project?...if the answer is no to both or even one of those..get it done at a shop...if yes...then order yourself the nissan repair manual for your specific ride...and make shure you have a set of basic tools...you must allso clean the area your going to work in and get a engine hoist , engine stand and freezer storage bags..the thick kind...the bags are for putting bolts and small parts in ...you label them with a sharpe permanant marker so you know where everything goes back when its time....i allso recomend steam cleaning everything off before you bring it home to work on...most 240s you will find are in patheticly kept shape..due to the amount of (WANABE TUNERS) these young kids with no clue, let guys like me and a few others get great cars cheeply later on when they screw em up:)..anyways..good luck..what ever you decide.

1) get an FSM (factory service manual) it has EVERYTHING you need to know about your entire car.

2) use THIS website. its awesome. and also has EVERYTHING you need to know about your car. and then some.

its a learning experience, but fortunately for you, the 240, and its motors, are pretty simple and easy to work with. just take your time and dont rush things.

also, when your taking things apart, have someone take pictures/video of where stuff goes. it will be a MILLION times easier when youre putting it back together. you wont end up with the "extra nuts and bolts that used to go somewhere pile"

wont take long if ya have all the new parts lying in front of you "stock aplications"..if your modding it to death like me..a while..due to clearencing issues on certain items..good luck man.
