hello all. i was just wondering about how much re-building a stock ka24de would b (re-building with all stock parts) and about how much it costs to sandblast and paint a (240 sx) frame 1989-1994 thx

a complete paint jobcan get very expensive...and keep in mind you get what you pay for. A 400 dollar macco paint job is just that... If I were to do it, I would spend at least 2000. that way you know that your getting quality. And also you need to pick a shop that has a good reputation, like Stans in keene. they are great, but it will definetly cost ya

you should ask yourself "how much I can spent to rebuilt a ka24de"

You can easily put 10 grand into a KA24de... then you should get a SR20... then you should get fogged piston.. then you should get bigger turbo.. then you get this.. that ... this.. that

sry u seem to have read my question wrong, i ment if i was to re-build a stock ka24d with the same stock parts that the engine origionally should have, about how much will it cost. sry for the misunderstanding

I can rebuild a KA motor all with stock parts chrome rings for 650plus labor.....

cool about how much time will it take, or i should say about how much plus labor would it be? i am interested, believe me, and i am wondering about how much it will cost so i can save up for it.
