Would i be able to use these parts to rebuild my manual transmission? I have trouble putting the car into reverse. I will shift and nothing. I end up going in and out of gear ~5 times until i start to roll. Also, my second gear wont go in unless i go directly into it by skipping first, and/or entering 2nd after maybe 2 seconds of 1st. I suspect the synchros. Any imput?

no thats the kit for a Z31 trans, really unless you know what you're doing you're better off swapping in a known good trans, you're problems could be coming from a syncro or bearing or a work gear, you have to inspect all the aprts and replace what needs replacemet and any kit you might find is generally only snycro's and bearings, and I believe the bearings are pressed on so a bearing splitter and press would be needed

and the reverse issue pops up a lot of times with a work clutch but second gear sounds more like a syncro problem

Transmissions can be tricky to rebuild, espeically if you haven't done one before. If you do decide to attempt it make sure you check out our sponsors, some of them can get you the OEM rebuild kits for the transmission. If not, there's always the option of a transmission shop or picking up a quality used one and just swapping it over.
