whats up everybody, im looking to buy a rebuild kit for my Ka, i just blew a piston and just bought a new head and block, im going to have the engine out of the car so i can work on it, i plan to replace alot of the old parts so my baby will run smoothly, just a few questions, where can i find a good rebuild kit fo the ka, piston rings, main bearing, etc? and also while i have the new parts should i bore out my block? thanx in advance.

I haven't quite decided for myself either, though I'm going to have to very soon. I have been advised to contact Dan at Midway parts (he's dantech in the advertising section)

Whatever you do, I highly recommend you buy only OEM parts. If you really wanted American parts in your engine you should have bought a Ford.

I found TopLine's parts to be of very good quality. You can find their rebuild kits at http://www.importperformanceparts.net. I used their platinum rebuild kit+oil pump in my present DE, and everything is running great.

I've heard good things about topline products too. I'm looking into buying that kit also.

flatlander racing is a very good company not to far from me and never had or herd of any problems from them.
