I'm planning on rebuilding my KA for turbo. Can you guys let me know if this rebuild kit will do. Thanks

Oh, and I'm not shooting for real high boost. I'll probably be going with a t25/t28.. looking to get maybe 10psi -/+ a little.. trying to keep it daily driving reliable with a little balls. I know a concern that has been brough up was upgrading rods, being those are usually a problem. With a small turbo should this be a big concern if I don't plan to boost much? or will the stock ones do?

You get what you pay for.

Your better off with an OEM rebuild by a lot. You dont need new pistons, just re ring the OEM ones.

this would require basically piecing out everything right? or does Nissan offer a rebuild kit? I've gone to Nissan before and half of the parts they don't even make.. they said Nissan doesn't remanufacture these parts and that they wont work on my car because of liablility issues..

Nissan makes the parts hah, where did you hear that?

Yea you would have to piece it together. Nissan does not offer a full rebuild kit persay..

You just need OEM...

Rings, rear main seal/front main sealOEM lower timing cover/oil pumppossibly valve seals

then you can go with..

ebay ACL bearings, 50 bucksFelpro HGwater pump

Theres some other stuff involved if your going to get your block hot tanked, honed, ect.
