Rebuild--How long before it stops smoking?

I rebuilt my RB25det to oem specs plus cosworth head gasket and arp head studs. I have -10an line from valve cover to my Moroso catch can. I notice sometimes after a hard pull, stem comes out of the filter on top of the moroso can. What does this mean?? When I open up the drain nothing but dingy water comes out?? Its not a lot, more so condensation

Is this the process of the motor still wearing? I usually smell a stong gas like odor that saturates my cloths after driving it.

That's odd. There's really no reason for condensation to collect in a catch can.

Then again, that's not a conventional 'catch can' routing setup, either.

After I install my BorgWarner s366 with Intake I was thinking about running another -10 from can to intake. Put a little vacuum on the system to help relieve the rings a bit

I rebuilt my SR, and never had any smoking/condensation coming from anywhere. Nothing has ever filled the catch can yet, it's still bone dry. Not sure if an RB would be much different.

Browsing the net a bunch of Honda guys have had the same thing happen with them. I know I don't have a Honda they talk as if it's normal. I'm gonna just ignore it unless someone says differ.
