2007 Versa SL hatchback

We don't have any separate floor mats, however, there is mat on the driver's side, right next to the pedals, that's attached to the vehicle's carpet. It has come loose.

The vehicle is still within warranty, so I COULD take it to the dealer to have it reattached for free. I'd like to know if this is something I could safely take into my own hands, especially considering that the dealer would likely re-attach it using the same obviously-weak adhesive used at the factory.

How would you recommend re-attaching the rubber mat to the carpet? Gorilla Glue? PowerGrab construction adhesive?

Or should I just go back to the dealer and have them do it?

Thanks

If the dealer will do it for free than do it.

I wouldn't suggest glueing anything to your carpet in the car.. If you ever took those out it would look horrible.

I second that... Anything the dealer will do for free let them do it
