Has anyone found that buying an expensive tires quiets the road noise and makes the ride more comfortable.

I need tires and really don't want to spend the big bucks unless it will really make a difference.

I have went through 3 sets of Continental tires (which is what came on my 2009 and 2011 models) and this newest set on my 2011 I went with a set of cheapies from Les Schwab (my local tire chain). I then drove it from southern Oregon to Las Vegas for SEMA Ignited (13 hours each way). I never recognized a real difference between the brands honestly.
