that piston got owned. way to go, if youre going to give yourself a reason for a new engine you might as well do it right!

holy **** congratulations!one of my friends actually manage to break the top off the piston, like it crackle all the way around one of the ring lands and the top was seperated from the rest of the piston. But that takes the cake. What the hell were you doing to that poor engine? running a 100 shot on top of 10 psi with stock timing and 87 octane?

i bought the car that way, guy told me it was "just a headgasket" but when i pulled it apart it seems like he drove it with the blown hg untill that happened
